Carl Cederholm expandable coffee table for Firma Stil & Form, Stockholm, Sweden. Circa 1940s. Mahogany veneer with beautiful striation and a double band of inlay along the sides. with inlaid edges pull apart to reveal a black glass center. Both sides of the top open along a simple frame to display a useful polished black formica table within. Dimensions closed - 19" x 51" x 21". Fully extended is 76."
