one of ceramics most revered glazes. The piece 15 hand-sculpted from white Limoges porcelain with precise angular facets that create a gemstone-like appearance. Each facet catches the light differently, showcasing the subtle variations in the celadon glaze- a historic formula first developed specially for porcelain in ancient China. The creation process involves two firing cycles. After the initial bisque firing, the celadon glaze is applied and the piece undergoes vitrification at cone 10 (2,350°F/1.288°C). During this process, the glaze breaks slightly over the edges of the facets, creating natural highlights that enhance the geometric form- a technique that masters of celadon have prized for centuries. The resulting pale blue-green color with Its characteristic subtle crackling creates a sense of depth and complexity reminiscent of jade or other precious stones. Handmade in Brooklyn, New York
