Kathleen Andersen
Hi, I am Kathleen! I am an artist living and working in a beautiful Hudson Valley town about an hour and a half north of Manhattan. I studied and received a bachelor of fine arts degree at Alfred University and it was there that I started learning the art of glass blowing. I say started learning because learning to work with glass is a never ending, ever evolving process. I continue to try to expand and hone my skills while incorporating my love of color and function to my work. Since being an artist is a lifestyle not just a career, I paint and draw when not in the hot shop(what glass blowers call their studio).
