This piece is hand-sculpted from black pigmented Limoges porcelain, taking form
as a bold architectural statement. The ring's distinctive crown showcases a cluster
of microspheres and sand collected from Isola d'Elba, Tuscany. These textural
elements are enhanced with a gray luster finish, creating an elegant interplay
between the metallic accents and the deep black porcelain base. The creation
process involves four firing cycles. The porcelain undergoes vitrification at cone
10 (2,350°F/1,288°C), transforming into a durable, non-porous material.
