If you strike too hard and it breaks or snaps in half, we recommend you use a lighter or match to carefully re-light it. Let it burn until it reaches the incense stick, extinguish the flame, then place it on the mat. Take the unlit, broken off part and push it together. The broken part should be able to light. This is not common and only will occur if you strike the match too hard.

To clean- Using rubbing alcohol, fully submerge pipe in sealed container (such as cleaned used plastic take-out container) and soak for 30+ minutes. Gently shake after 30 minutes to help loosen debris and discard used rubbing alcohol, or save it for the next time you want to clean it, still works but smells intense! Flush hot water through mouth opening of pipe and shake some more, add some dish soap if you'd like. Keep flushing until clean. Scrub outside with an old toothbrush or sponge and dish soap for extra sparkle, if you so desire. This is the same process recommended for cleaning glass pipes.

CLEANING + USE:

Fill with approximately 1/4c of water before use. A straw-like piece extends from the base of the bowl down into the water in the interior chamber. This allows smoke to pass through the water, cooling it before reaching the mouthpiece.
Easy to clean—use isopropyl alcohol + salt or any 420 cleaning solution. For pearl pieces, do not soak in alcohol. The pearl finish is a luster that is more delicate than our solid colors. Additional cleaning details and tutorials are available in the FAQ section.

But what is a bubbler?

A bubbler is similar to a bong. Both bubblers and bongs use water filtration to cool the smoke before it reaches the mouthpiece, making for a smooth hit. A bong has a removable bowl/slide while a bubbler's bowl is fixed, similar to a hand pipe.
