Our mondo bowls are made to be used and great as a catch all for market fresh fruits and veggies, the biggest bouquet of flowers ever created, a grand serving bucket, fill with ice and your favorite bevvies or to accent your coffee table boldly. Like all of Jill's pieces, the mondo bowl is made in her downtown Boston studio. Everything from the making, drawing and painting is done there by her dedicated team of professional potteristas.
All our pottery is made to order—handcrafted on a potter's wheel then drawn and painted by our skilled artisans. We use a creamy white earthenware that provides a smooth white canvas for our colorful patterns. Each piece is finished with a coat of glossy clear glaze. The final touch is a 14k gold painted rim.
