Born in Sondrio, Italy in 1921, Antonia Campi is a renowned ceramicist, jewelry, metal and glass designer who was awarded a Compasso D'Oro in 2011 for a lifetime of achievement in design. While she produced some beautiful sculpture and art, her contributions to industrial design are also significant.

These poultry scissors, part of MoMA's permanent collection, are a re-issue of Campi's 1960 “Italicus” Poultry Shears (model 397)  produced by Ermenegildo Collini S.p.A. Simply shaped to fit the hand with a responsive spring mechanism these utilitarian shears are an object of beauty.  Form. Function.  Gift boxed.

Materials: Stainless steel, hot-drop forged and mirror-polished.

Dimensions: L: 9.5"

Care Instructions: Wipe clean with a soft cloth. If liquid is needed, use water only and dry thoroughly to prevent rust.

Designed In: Italy
